T.C. Costello is bringing traditional European music, featuring the Euro accordion, from the streets of Europe to weddings, festivals, and venues across the US.

From sharing stages with artists like Robert Plant and Gogol Bordello in England, to playing at a peace festival on the Korean border, T.C. has traveled the world, picking up languages and instruments along the way.

“Good Lord! Whatever you do, don’t stop!”

Akie Bermiss, keyboardist from Lake Street Dive.

During the pandemic, he found himself in Galicia, a Celtic region in Northwestern Spain, but also in a challenging employment situation. Refusing to work 56 hours a week for only 200 euros, he decided to say adios to his job and commit fully to music. He immediately began playing on street corners, in medieval squares, and beneath Galicia’s ancient Roman walls.

He played classic rock covers, Spanish pop songs, and local Celtic folk songs, leading many locals to believe he was Galician, which they quickly learned was not the case when they heard his Southern accent.

“You are the most Galician Yankee I have ever met.”

- A concertgoer who didn’t know “Yankee” meant people from the North.

Within months, he was entertaining audiences at venues throughout Spain and Portugal. Now, T.C. is back home, ready to bring the same energy to shows as he once did in the ancient streets of Galicia.

In 2026, he will make his debut at the Georgian Renaissance Faire, the Shadow Bay Celtic Festival, and The Friar's Gate Renaissance Festival.
